* Batch-combine pairs of non-Retina and Retina images into TIFF packages * * Description * For those who use Xcode 5 or 6 to develop Mac applications, it's not a secret that Xcode combines a non-Retina image and a Retina image (@2x) into a tiff file. That's what you see if you explore an application package. Xcode will create a tiff container file even when you have a non-Retina and a Retina image in JPEG. tiffPack is a desktop application that lets you batch-create TIFF packages. An advantage of using tiffPack is that it'll take this application Retina images (72 dpi x 72 dpi) only to create TIFF containers. * Features * 1. Batch-create TIFF packages out of Retina image files. Non-Retina images are not required. 2. The application supports the fullscreen mode. 3. The application supports the retina screen. (tested with 2014 2.6 GHz 13" MacBook Pro) 4. Languages: English and Japanese only. 5. Application file size: 11.0 MB. 6. The application comes with a complete user's guide written in English. (Choose Help > User's Guide.) 7. The application comes with a 8-page introduction window, giving the user a quick tour over how it works. * System requirements * 1. 10.8 (untested), 10.9 (tested with 10.9.5), 10.10 (tested) 2. 64-bit system * Limitations * 1. A source image must have even numbers of pixels. 2. The name of a source image file must not contain the high-resolution mark (@2x, @3x). 3. The resolutions of a source image must be exactly 72.0 dpi x 72.0 dpi. 4. A tiff file as a source image must not be a container with multiple images.
