Protect and send your most sensitive information – keep it safe and away from prying eyes! Store your most private photos in STRONGLY ENCRYPTED files. safe deposit box is a macOS and iOS application-set that allows a user to save personal information in very strongly encrypted files (using AES-256 encryption technology), transfer those files safely between their macOS computer and iOS device and back. The two versions of software can be used independently. Each can contain multiple encrypted personal information files, limited only by device storage capacity. A set of two unique keys defines, locks and unlocks unique, independent encrypted files. Please Checkout the User’s Guide - just to make sure it does what you need and want! Click on the Support URL to take you directly to the complete User's Guide. NOTE: each unique set of two keys defines a unique personal information file. You can have as many as you have storage room for. But remember – there is deliberately no index, no catalog, no folder view – it is up to you to remember what sets of keys you have used for which encrypted personal information files you have created. A new blank personal information file is created by entering two previously unused and unique keys. The keys could be considered as a username and password. The keys can be any combination of characters. This is particularly useful to store free-form text, or information that doesn’t fit a defined format, such as background information about your credit cards, passports, utility accounts, addresses, etc. You can add personal photos or images of documents, IDs, etc. You can drag and drop PDF files to have them securely stored in a STRONGLY ENCRYPTED file. If you want to access the same personal information on your iOS device, or another macOS computer – simply press Send and email the encrypted file to whatever email address you’d like. The encrypted personal information is attached to your Apple Mail as a generic file labeled info.sdbdata2 – any encrypted personal information ALWAYS have that name. This is intentional. The only way to open the attachment is with the safe deposit box application (either on macOS or iOS) using the correct two keys. You can erase the personal information file. NOTE: this is not reversible – once you erase the file it is gone, no backup or recovery. NOTE: keys are not recoverable if lost or forgotten, and the encrypted personal information files cannot be reverse engineered or opened without the two keys. There is no back-door, and no way to recover the keys or the personal information.
