This photo manager and editor aims to simplify the task of keeping track of, and grouping your photos while giving you the flexibility to change them simply and at will. With it you will never wonder again if you already have a copy of a photo that you are adding to the library. Features: Image Browser • Intuitive interface for viewing lots of images. • Add descriptions to any image. • View information and metadata of each image. • Flag images for easy selection later. • Rate images. • Supports all common image formats, including animated GIFs. • Images can be dragged from the image browser onto other destinations, such as a web browser so they can be used for things such as Facebook posts, etc. Comprehensive Tag System • Easily create new tags by simply typing the tag name in the tag field for an image. • Tags can be applied to any existing image by dragging it from the tag browser to that image's tag field. • Tags can have their own descriptions. • Tags can be nested or grouped inside other tags. • Images can be filtered based on tags. • If the filter is on a parent tag then it includes all it's children tags. Search • Search for images that contain the specified text. • The text can exist in the filename, the tags, the image notes or the image properties. Image Filter • The image browser can be filtered to show or hide images that meet a specific criteria. • Filter on the presence or absence of selected tags. • Filter on images that are or are not flagged. • Filter on specific image formats. • Filter on image duplicates. Duplicate Images • Pictures+ is able to identify duplicate images. • Will detect even if the images are not the same resolution. • Will detect even if the images are not the same colour. (ie. colour vs. black and white) Playlists And Slideshows • Filters can be combined to make a playlist. • Any playlist can be used as a slideshow automatically. • Slideshows can have a configurable interval, sort order and transition type. • Slideshows can have an image processing library applied to them during play. • Slideshows can be played in a window, fullscreen and even on the desktop's wallpaper. Image Processing • Images can modified through the use of a built in image processing suite. • Each processing function can be dragged onto the image to form a chain of processing steps. • These steps are stored separately for each image. • This chain of steps can be stored into a library that can then be easily dragged onto other images, or applied to a slideshow. • When modifying an image, it can be saved as a new image, or to replace the current image. Image Library • Images can be added by selecting a folder on your harddrive. • Images can be added by dragging them from another source, such as a web browser. • Images can be added in groups by using the batch downloader to specify a range of URLs to download.
