PCM Footprint

PCM Footprint can: - show the remaining audio recording time for a certain amount of free hard drive space; - show the amount of hard drive space required to record audio for a certain period of time. These calculations only take pure PCM data into account (e.g. lossless WAV or AIFF, excluding headers). For more information about the footprint of file type or codec specific data, please refer to the specifications of the file format and/or codec you are using. Data sizes may vary heavily from the results indicated by PCM Footprint when using compressed formats or anything else that is not linear PCM audio data storage.
