Grace

Grace is a graphical algorithmic music composition environment that creates sound by transforming high-level algorithmic representations of musical processes and structures into a variety of control protocols (e.g. MIDI, OSC, Audio, MusicXml) for sound synthesis and display. Musical algorithms run in real time, or faster-than-real time for file-based composition. Grace provides two languages for coding musical processes: its native S7 Scheme, and SAL, an easy-to-learn but expressive scripting language.
