Welcome to Elumiqs, a puzzle game where you are in control and almost anything goes! Gameplay First Nothing in this game has received as much care and attention as the core gameplay mechanics and the controls. We wanted the game to be able to stand on these concepts alone and we've bet our success on it. No pay-to-win. No gimmicks. Just gameplay that is a reward in itself. The Difference Elumiqs brings two key mechanics together: freedom to move blocks at any time and control over when the action starts. Most puzzle games clear blocks as soon as they match. In fact some puzzle games won’t even let you move without making a match. Elumiqs lets you do all these things! • Start a chain with the press of a button. • Move blocks freely while other blocks are clearing. • Build ahead of your chains while they are still happening. • Grab blocks right out of the air. • Slam blocks to the ground faster than they can fall. • Move blocks around the board with unparalleled agility. • Match blocks in many shapes that twist and branch though the board. The Games Survival The classic "Endless" game. Survive as long as possible against the never ending torrent of blocks. Score points while the stack of blocks rises ever faster, but if the stack reaches the top, it's game over! Crush Challenge the computer in the Game of Crush. Create chains to attack your opponent, but be careful, they can do the same to you! Greed Challenge yourself and test your limits in the game of Greed. Clear the board before time runs out, then exchange your points for time in the next round. The higher the level, the more points you can score; but if you run out of time, you lose it all. Lab You can't lose in this game! In Lab, you are free to experiment and sharpen your skills. The Element Systems Choose an Element System at the start of each game. The Element System doesn’t just change the difficulty — it changes the feel and pace of the game. Choose the Greek system if you prefer twitch style gaming — or go up a few systems if you prefer to plan ahead. • Greek - four elements (Fire, Earth, Water, Wind) • Chinese - five elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Wood, Metal) • Modern - six elements (Fire, Water, Lightning, Earth, Wind, Ice) • Unlock more systems as you play The AI The AI may look unassuming but it is based on performances by real players of different skill levels. It can react to what you do in ways that are not always logical. It can become overconfident or you can surprise it; intimidate it; wear it out; confuse it; make it panic; or doubt itself. Why add all this nuance? Because you can feel the difference, and that’s important.
